1975 年リリースの 2nd アルバム（セルフ・タイトル）。
デビュー時は 「 ジェリー・ロス 」 の後押しでブルー・アイド・ソウル路線だったが、
本作では プロデュース 「 ボーンズ・ハウ 」 の下メロウ度・ファンク度を大幅に強化。
前作から 4 年を経て、より洗練されたダンス・ソウル／ファンク・ブラスロック へ進化した一枚。
A面は “The Dance Side”、B面は “The Groove Side” と題され、
踊らせるファンク × 聴かせるメロウ の二面性が魅力。
